Christmas 2008

Well Christmas has come and gone again. We had a great Christmas. Curtis had 4 days off, so we had some great family time. The kids were so excited. Santa had brought them the wii. Well Christmas day was wii all day. Alyssa is pretty good at the sports. We all had a blast. Now we just need to recover for new years.

Logan was funny. On Christmas morning he got right into his basket. Playing with his cars and a ball that giggles. He was trying to open the presents. When he realized he could rip paper, he was having fun. Although he got bored fast, and found other things to get into. Like bug his sister's. He had a good 1st Christmas. I can't believe on Christmas eve day he turned 11 months old. Time sure flys.

We had a great meal. Cooked by Curtis the chef. He really enjoys cooking.

Curtis and I ended up with colds just before Christmas. Logan got rid of his just before Christmas. Like 3 days before. So I am glad he wasn't sick for his 1st Christmas. I am really enjoying Alyssa and Hayley home. I like it when they are all home from school. We have so much fun together. To bad Curtis has to go back to work.
I will be sad when Christmas break is over.

What Will Happen Next

Well on friday dec.12 are cat Cinder passed away. From what? We do not know. We have gone from 3 animals to 1 in 2 weeks. The girl's are having a hard time. So this christmas season has really sucked. Our poor dog Isaiah has lost his to friends as well. He is not sure what to do. This week we are looking after a dog for are friends. Isaiah might be happy for the company.

I am counting down the days till school is done for christmas break. The girls are getting very excited for christmas. Last week was Curtis's christmas party for the kids at work. We had it at the car dealership. They moved all the cars out of the show room. Had 2 bouncy things which they were in the whole time. They did play mini golf a couple of times. Gramma and grampa Raby would have been proud. The girl's had a blast. Santa came. They sat on his knee. Logan did well. As long as he didn't look at Santa. The kids got some great gifts. Alyssa and Hayley say Santa is real, because he had a beard you couldn't pull off. It was real hair on his face. So santa is really.

Getting Ready

We are hoping with this blog to update family and friends with our crazy family. And to put up pictures. We have had a busy and sad month. We had to put our dog Erza down. He was with us for 9 1/2 years. He was a great dog. We all miss him like crazy.

We had Paige's 4th birthday on november 23. I can't believe she is four. She waited all day for people to come over. By the time family came, she didn't care. She of course had a tinkerbell cake. She loves tinkerbell. She was happy to open the gifts, except when she got clothes. She just tossed the bag.

Alyssa got her hair cut today. She looks so cute. She now has bangs. She looks grown up. I can't believe she will be 8 years old soon.

Logan is 1o months old now. Wow has time flown by. He is standing up on his own, crawling, and the newest thing is nodding his head. When he see Hayley he smiles and nods his head. It is very cute and funny. Hayley really enjoys spending time with Logan.
We are making a christmas tree instead of a gingerbread house. We will see how that goes. The girls are helping and having a great time. Will post some pics when I figure out how to.
