Is it Spring?

I know the calendar says spring, but with the snow i can't tell. I am looking forward to nicer weather. The kids have spring break next week. Which I am lokoking forward to. I love it when my kids are all home. My Oldest girl is really sick, poor thing. She has been home monday and today and probably all this week. She has had a fever for 4 days and really bad coughing. We took her to the doctor's yesterday and got her tested for strep. Waiting for the test results. I hope the doctor calls tomorrow.

I can't believe it is almost April. Time is flying to fast. Which means a very very close friend is moving soon. She also happens to be our neighbour. I am thankful that God has brought her family into our lives. They have been such a blessing to us.
I haven't had my break down yet. But I am sure it will come, maybe closer to the time. I know we will remain close to them, just not neighbours. I will not have both anymore. It is all still sad.

So for this week I am not a busy as it was suppose to be, but that is okay. I will enjoy my oldest being home. Even if she is sick. :) I am looking forward to small group to night. Well off to pick up the one daughter from the bus.

nothing

Well it has been sooooo cold. I kept the girls home on tuesday. Today we have sunshine. Tomorrow it is to get cold again. :(. It was nice to go out for coffee with a good friend on monday. I am going to miss her when she moves. I can't believe A turned 10 at the end of feb. I have a daughter in the double digits. We had her friend party last saturday. We had a spa party. My mother-in-law and sister came and we had manicures and pedicures for the girls. Such joy to watch them have so much fun.

We are potty training L, he was doing so good. Not so much now. he keeps having accidents. At least it is just pee.

I am looking forward to night, Curits and I are going to a Faith at home tonight. Plus we get free babysitting. Bonus. Hope we learns lots of info to try to do in our home.

It has been way to cold to do much outside. I miss being able to go for walks. We went sledding one week end, it was -25 with wind chill. So we didn't stay along. The wind was crazy. I thought I was being a whimp till I founf out the temp. No wonder my hands froze in about 20 minutes with gloves. L loved going even though he was shaking, because he was so cold.

I hope this cold doesn't last long. Oh and Jesus Rocks!!!!!!

Not Much

Well I am writing again. Maybe I will try and keep up with this. HAHAHAHA. Anyway God has blessed us so much. I am thankful more and more each day. I love being home with my kids. I love how they have grown in their relationship with God. People ask me how could I do 4 kids. I answer how could I not. Each one is special and I would never change it. L the other day says to me, I need my hockey skates, hockey puck, and my hockey stick. He wanted to play hockey on the ice on the sidewalk. I had to explain, why we couldn't. He just said Oh. He is pretty darn cute, if i say so.

Tuesday I had a good friend come over for lunch, with her daughter. P was happy that she got to have a play date. We all had a great time. I need to do this more often.

Yesterday I was in pain. As I have had lower back spasm. Not fun at all. But thank goodness for chiropractors.

I am loving the weather today. A and H have ballet tonight, so it is a busy night. And the roads are going to be nice to drive on. Love that.

Time Flies

I can't believe it is December. Almost Christmas time. This month has been busy from the beginning. We went to Cochrane for the town lite up with some great friends. We then we went back to their house for treats and hot chocolate. We left at 10:00 and the girls were having a sleepover. We had 6 kids sunday then 2 more in the afternoon. It was a crazy weekend, but very fun. Then it seems we have kept going. We went to the 12 days of Chritmas at Heritage Park. It was for Paige's birthday. We went with Family and great friends. It was litly snowing and not cold. It was peaceful. After we went to Grandpa and Grandma Clarke's house for cupcakes. We will be doing that again next year.
We haven't done much Christmas shopping. I am just enjoying, the lights and the fun of doing things as a family. I am not looking forward to the mall of crazy people. Just breathe.

Tonight I am going out for coffee with a great friend and nieghbour. Well next year she won't be. Their beautiful family are moving. So sad, trying not to think about it. I still have them till June or July.
Tomorrow night is our last care group meeting of the year. We have a great care group. Looking forward to our Christmas Potluck this coming Sunday.

Well off to corral the kids.

What Will Happen Next

Well last few months have been really hard. Curtis has a new job and he loves it. We have had a lot of stress with house stuff. We have had lot of prayers and I thank all of our friends for that. We couldn't have gotten through this without. We love you all. I am doing a bible study on Wednesday morning called Lord Change My Attitude. Wow!! Do I ever need to work on a lot of things. This is a great study. I am writing 5 things I am thankful every night. Or at least trying,I don't write them down. But everyday I say them in my head.
We are getting ready for halloween. Two are princesses, a Tinkerbell, and a dragon.
looking forward to seeing them dressed up. They are all excited.
I volunteered in Hayley's class on Friday. It was neat to see the kids dressed up. What a fun afternoon.
Next month is our day trip to Banff. My mom and sister our coming. Paige turns 6 years old. I can't believe it. Plus whatever else November will bring.
Well the kids are excited about their aunt sleeping over tonight. So am I, it will be fun.

Christmas is Coming to the Clarke Family

Well the kids are looking forward this Christmas. We went to banff for our yearly trip. We were sad to the banff springs hot tub was closed. So we went to the Spirit of Christmas store for are tree ornaments. The kids were so excited. Logan was just loved all the decorations. Halyley wanted to get home and decorate. When we left the temp. had dropped a lot. By the time we hit Calaway Park the snow storm was upon us. We made it safely home. We decorated the tree and house. What a blast.

We had Paige's family birthday the next evening. I can't believe she is 5 years old and is going to kindergarten in the fall. She had a penguin cake, she really likes penguins. And Tinkerbell of course.

Alyssa and Hayley were in the Church choir. They did an awesome job. Once on Saturday night. Then 3 times on Sunday. Hayley was also in the school choir, so we also had her Christmas concert. It was for grades 1 and 2. So her class also did a couple of songs. She was awesome. Alyssa will begin hers after Christmas break.

I can't wait till Christmas. We are almost ready.
